Probably the oddest ad you will read today lol - West Bromwich

I had cancer in 2013 and although it went into full remission with no side effects I was told I had an 80% chance it could come back in the first 5 years, as it felt selfish to involve another person in that I decided to take a break from any type of dating or relationships for that period, then I blinked and 10 years had passed lol

I am not convinced it really even makes sense to try to find a serious partner at 56 as the entire world seems to have gone slightly crazy during the last 10 years, but in the last few years I have been more away of being single and have had times where I really missed the subtle aspects of a relationship, the cuddling, kissing, curling up next to somebody special, that kind of stuff

So I guess for now you could say I was hoping to find a woman in a similar situation, effectively a cuddle buddy or friends with barely any benefits lol

Its not that I cant have, or lack any interest in sex, simply that I would imagine women actively looking for sex online would be expecting toe curling earth shattering squelchy fun times between the sheets, but after a 10 year break I should probably be considering purchasing some PJs with L plates and training wheels on them, so I didnt want to mislead anybody or write cheques that would bounce

So I am really just hoping to find somebody locally that I can get on with, who is grounded, genuine, has a good sense of humour and who is a good communicator around my age give or take a few years with the hope of friendship and if we mutually click some degree of intimacy, which may or may not lead to more

But as we can all "scratch an itch" when needed, kissing, hugging or spooning yourself is a bit more difficult, which is why I think those are the things I noticed I was missing if that makes sense

Anyway, I obviously wont be holding my breath for this, but nothing ventured as the saying goes
